Laurel Surgical Center is a physician lead, community-based health care institution opened in 2004. The center is a
16,000 square foot state-of-the-art multi-specialty facility. It is specifically designed for outpatient procedures with
three well-equipped operating rooms, two procedure rooms, eight pre-operative beds, seven post anesthesia care units, six
step down stations, and a private recovery room. The patient-friendly design of the center ensures optimum flow and maximum
privacy. As a multi-specialty facility, Laurel Surgical Center provides same-day surgeries at a reasonable cost and savings
to patients and private and commercial payors. Due to increased efficiencies, a majority of outpatient procedures require
less time than in a traditional hospital setting, allowing patients to return to their family and daily schedules faster.
