Generally, all insurance carriers, including Medicare, reimburse outpatient centers just as they would
other health facilities. Standard charges have been established for all procedures performed at Laurel
Surgical Center. Our business office will contact you prior to your procedure regarding your insurance
coverage and expected charges.
Your financial responsibility at the time of service will be any deductible , co-pay and/or co-insurance.
We accept personal checks, cash, money order as well as Visa and MasterCard.
As a courtesy to you, Laurel Surgical Center will bill your insurance. You will be balance billed for any
services and/or charges not covered by your insurance plan.
Not included are fees for your physician and anesthesia services, laboratory fees, pathology, or other tests
which may be ordered by your physician. Those fees are submitted separately.
